Frequently Asked Questions
What is integrative counselling? Integrative counselling means I don't rely on a single therapeutic model. Instead, I draw on a range of approaches — including person-centred and trauma-informed practices — and adapt them to suit you as an individual, rather than a one-size-fits-all method.
Do you offer online or in-person sessions? I offer both online sessions via secure video call and in-person sessions at my practice in Swindon.
How long is a counselling session? Each session lasts 50 minutes. This gives us enough time to settle in properly, explore what's present for you, and close each session with care.
How long does counselling usually take, overall? There's no fixed timeline, some people come for a few sessions to work through something specific, others stay longer to explore deeper patterns. We'll regularly check in together to make sure our work continues to meet your needs.
Do you work with neurodivergent clients? Yes. I have extensive experience supporting individuals with ADHD, autism, and learning disabilities, and I bring that understanding into how I tailor our sessions together.
How do I get started? Simply get in touch to arrange an initial conversation. There's no pressure — it's a chance for us to see whether working together feels right for you.

A Collaborative Journey
I believe therapy works best as a collaborative journey — one where you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you. By building a warm, empathetic therapeutic relationship, we'll explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours together, fostering greater self-awareness and supporting genuine personal growth and resilience.
Finding your path is rarely a straight line — it often involves twists, turns, and a little trial and error along the way. That's okay. There's no need to rush. We'll move at whatever pace feels right for you, giving you the space to explore what truly fits your life.
